Valery Vigilucci was born in Volterra on 15 April 1997 and spent the early stages of her career in Florence. In 2012/13, she made her Serie A debut for Firenze and continued to wear the Viola colours after the Tuscan club's license was acquired by Fiorentina. In the following seven seasons, she won the 2016/17 Scudetto, the Coppa Italia twice and also the Supercoppa Italiana. Furthermore, she made her debut in the Women's Champions League. Joining AC Milan in the summer of 2022, she stood out in her first two seasons for her consistent and reliable performances: she bagged eight goals in 47 appearances to date. As of June 2024, she has made five appearances for Italy, for whom she won her first cap during the International Tournament of Manaus in December 2016.
