After finishing second in the Poule Salvezza of last season’s Serie A, Como Women is gearing up for the new campaign with a fresh look and renewed ambitions. The transfer market has brought significant changes, including the addition of former Rossonera Alia Guagni, as well as Spinelli and Schroffenegger from Fiorentina, and del Estal, Gilardi, Kramžar, and Bergersen from Napoli, Inter, and Roma respectively. Marcussen, Salas, and Fadini are notable international signings, though there have also been several departures and organisational changes. The team’s new head coach is Stefano Sottili, a former professional player with experience managing Venezia, Carrarese, Varese, and Juve Stabia, among others, before his recent stint with Torres and subsequent move to Como.
