Coming from the youth sector of Udinese, Fabio Cudicini moved to Roma, and when in 1967 Nereo Rocco brought him to Milan, he had apparently already reached the peak of his career. But the best still had to come. Thanks to two important performances in Glasgow and Manchester the sober goalkeeper from Trieste was nicknamed "The Black Spider’" With Milan he won a league title, an Italian Cup, a European Champion Clubs' Cup, a European Cup Winners’ Cup and in 1969 the first Intercontinental Cup.
