Old-fashioned stopper, Aldo Bet grew up within Inter from their youth sector up to the first team. Helenio Herrera brought him to Roma, where he made an important qualitative leap that earned him a place in the national team. After playing for the Giallorossi for five years, and a season for Verona, in his full maturity, he finally joined AC Milan in summer 1974. Physically imposing, sturdy, relentless in man marking, at first paired with Turone, then with the young Baresi, he won two Italian Cups and the league title that added a star on the club's jersey.
