Roberto Baggio's two-year period at AC Milan started off very well. When he joined the club in summer 1995, together with the other top-class player George Weah, he immediately won the league title. Born and raised in Caldogno, he expressed his full potential with Vicenza. Wearing the jerseys of Fiorentina and Juventus his amazing performances ultimately earned him the Golden Ball award in 1993. His retirement from football occurred at San Siro, but with the jersey of Brescia with which he played his last season as a professional player in 2004.
